Burglary Near You - Denby Drive, Baildon BD17

Dear Resident

You are receiving this message because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Denby Drive, Baildon.  Sometime between 3.15am and 3.30am on 02/09/2026, the unidentified suspects managed to snap the cylinder lock on the conservatory door and gain entry to the house. The suspects located the keys to the victim's Audi S3 and managed to move it from the driveway onto the road. Due to vehicle security systems, they were unable to get it started and abandoned it on the street. 

Crime occurrence 13260499125 refers. 

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between (please add times if known) to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

As a precaution, please check that your door locks are secure and correctly fitted. We recommend anti-snap locks with a 3 Star rating, certified to either TS007 or SS312 standards. These locks are available from many locksmiths and security providers.
